【海外の反応】日本は特別暑い！？日本の猛暑

日本では連日、猛暑に関するニュースを聞きます。日本の猛暑に関して海外のメディアでも22,000人以上もの人々が病院で熱中症と診断されたこと、そのうち半分ほどが高齢者であることが報道されています。これをうけて海外ではどのような反応があるんでしょうか、すこし紹介していきます。

パキスタン人：41 degree centigrade is not that hot.😮 but people there were not used to it i guess.

41℃ってめちゃくちゃ暑いわけじゃないよね。日本の人々はただそれに慣れていないだけなんじゃないかと思うけど。

　―国籍不明：Humidity makes the whole difference. 41° C in a dry climate is tolerable but together with humidity, it's completely different and way worse.

湿度でかなり変わるんだよ。渇いた気候で41℃ならなんとかなるけど、湿度も加わってくると全く違ってもっとひどく感じるよ

アメリカ人：This is my first summer in Tokyo and i thought coming from Florida would’ve prepared me. BOY was i wrong. It’s 11pm right now and it’s still 85 degrees with 80% humidity 

僕にとってこれが東京での初めての夏なんだけど、フロリダから来るってことで暑さには慣れていると思ってたんだけど、、、あぁ、間違ってたよ。今夜の11時で気温は30℃近くあるし、湿度だって85%だ。

イギリス人：The problem with Japan, is the ‘Gambatte’ or never give up or do your best no matter what is a possible cause...experiencing record temperatures but we must continue to toll the rice fields, Kids play sports in the midday sun ...

日本の問題点は、何が起こるにしても諦めるな、ベストを尽くせっていう「がんばって」の考えにあるよ。記録的な暑さの中でも人は外で働かなくちゃいけないしね。

カナダ人：I hope there are people working on new efficient cooling technologies. It's just going to get hotter and everyone needs affordable options to keep cool enough to at least maintain health if not comfort.

涼しくなるような新しい技術を研究している人がいるといいけど、、熱くなるばかりで、快適までとは言わなくても、誰もが買えて、健康を維持できるなにかが必要よ。

シンガポール人： I got a terrible tan while in tokyo n my skin was peeling so bad even though i was using aloe vera gel n an umbrella whenever possible. the sun's no joke omg. Hide yo skin, hide yo self

日本にいる間、酷い日焼けをしたわ。アロエのジェルを塗ったり、できるだけ日傘を差してはいたんだけど、皮膚がむけちゃって。冗談なしに気をつけて。肌を隠して、自分を守ってね。

カナダ人：I went to Japan late May, and even then it was quite hot and sunny. I didn't mind cause my apartment has no AC and the heat is high in winter. Many people were warning me about the summer humidity as well, but I still wasn't sure how bad it could be since i love the heat...

今年の５月に日本へ行ったんだけど、その時すでにかなり暑くて、日がさしていたわ。私のアパートはエアコンがなくて冬でも暖かいから気にはしていなかったんだけど、、たくさんの人が夏の蒸し暑さについて気をつけるよう言ってくれて、でもどうなんだろ？想像できないわ

カナダ人：I've lived in Japan for 30 years....this is the worst ever. Luckily, leaving tomorrow to a cooler place.

日本には30年住んでいるけど、、今年が一番暑いよ。幸運なことに明日からより涼しい涼しい場所へ行けるけどね。

カナダ人：I live in Tokyo. You ever open an oven and a blast of hot air hits you in the face? It's like that, but humid and constant.

東京在住です。オーブンを開けると、熱気が顔にくることがあるでしょ。そんな感じだよ、でもこれは湿気だし常にこんな感じだけどね。

イギリス人：People who think global warming is not happening are wrong.

地球温暖化なんてものはないって言っている人は間違っているね

イギリス人：I feel sorry for everyone in different countries at rhe moment . The heat must be so uncomfortable. Here in England we have a heatwave too . Not used to this heat . Not had rain for 40 days . . Want it too rain .

国籍不明：For those competing for higher temperatures than places like Japan and the UK, yes, your average temperatures are probably a fair bit higher. Tokyo’s current humidity levels are sitting around 82%. If the air is at 100 percent relative humidity, sweat will not evaporate into the air. As a result, we feel much hotter than the actual temperature when the relative humidity is high.

日本やイギリスと他の猛暑となってる地域を比べている人たちへ。はい、あなたの地域の平均気温は確かに高いのかもしれません。今現在東京の湿度は82%で、もし湿度が100%になると、汗も空気中に蒸発しないし、結果的に気温よりももっと暑く感じるの。

日本だけでなく世界中で猛暑が報告されているようですね、猛暑だけでなく、大雨だったり、逆に雨が降らなかったり、地球温暖化が世界中に影響を与えているていう意見が多かったです。
